FIBS Bot: fatboy

Although fatboy, written by John Reid of Cambridge University, UK, has long since disappeared, it gets a mention here for being one of the first neural nets to play on FIBS and for even generating some affection (remember DrOctopus and fattest?). It might even have inspired later bg programmers who otherwise might have devoted their energies to lesser concerns such as predictive tensile stress analysis, or chess :-)

Trivia fans: on 6th June 1996 fatboy had a rating of 1345.47 with 226 experience. One month later its rating was 1571.63 with 5115 experience.
